Tateishi is mixing mostly black, white and brown pigments with a variety of materials to create a chemical reaction which will turn into the end work. His vague forms are somehow earthly evoking organic shapes but also as alien as celestial bodies trundling in the space void. In his works, alchemy creates an uncanny visual poetry.
