Depiction of the a fertility festival called Hōnensai (Harvest Festival) in the Japanese town of Komaki. It celebrated every year on March 15 with a parade of ceremonially garbed participants, all-you-can-drink sake (Japanese rice wine), and a wooden phallus carried by the men of a certain age.
