Through her glass sculptures, Maria strolls the vulnerable frontiers between physical and conceptual worlds,  establishing a concrete but fragile balance between the real and the abstract object. Maria expresses her thought with the nature of glass, the change of a liquid ephemeral substance into a sturdy physical form and back again.
